What is POSt of UofT

UofT = University of Toronto. The famous university in Canada.

When people talk about the University of Toronto, they may meintion a word called 'POST' ('POSt'), so what is a 'POSt'?

POSt stands for "Program of Study".

When a high school student gets an admission offer from UofT (especially for some hot programs such as CS - Computer Science), the student is not actually admitted to a POSt (Program of Study) but just a general steram. Students usually have to declare or apply their POSt at the end of the first year.

Some polular programs like CS are normally applied by many students, the related POSt has very strict enrolment requirements. In some years, only about 30% of students get admitted to CS POSt in a compus of UofT.
